We provide a quality educational process:
Brian and Susan opened B.J’s Driving School in June 1990. They both agreed Brian would teach and Susan would run the office. Before the end of that year, business was so busy Susan often had to leave her post to assist with picking up and dropping off clients for Brian.
They soon had to hire another instructor. By 1997, B.J’s had 20 cars on the road doing contract work as well as private training. This became too much for Susan and she found it difficult to delegate and tried to do all the admin and secretarial duties on her own. After the contracts expired Susan and Brian decided to downsize the business again. They both agreed quality was better than quantity. Now the business operates with a small team of reliable and dedicated instructors
Jabu came to B.J’s in 1997 as a sub contract from another driving school to assist with contract work at which time he was teaching in both codes 08 and 10 vehicles. As the contracts came to an end it was time for Jabu to leave B.J’s and return to his employer. Susan and Brian saw potential if Jabu was to stay at B.J’s and with Jabus’ reluctance to leave an agreement was made with his employer. Jabu is now happily a part the B.J’s team.
Steve joined B.J’s in 2006 with 16 years of experience. Steves’ parents owned their own driving school so as soon as Steve was able to drive he was trained on how to teach. Soon he was running his own driving school but realized that it was unfair to his students when he had to answer phone calls from potential clients whilst he was teaching. B.J’s was perfect for Steve, he could teach to the best of his ability without interruption.
